The 2025 Scholarship Application Form is now on the website.

Coaches please encourage your players to download the application form from the website and start the process of applying for one of the BC High School Boys Basketball Association Scholarships if you feel that they are an appropriate candidate.

The BCHSBBA awards over $10,000 in scholarships at the conclusion of each season.

Applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. February 27, 2025.

Coaches and Athletic Directors

Now that we are into week 2 of the Senior Boys Basketball season, just a reminder to register your team roster on the website by logging in and following "Registration Instructions" found by clicking on "Coaches" in the upper menu. Thank you to all the schools who submitted their league, tournament and other exhibition games, it is not too late to send your schedule in for all the schools who have not done so yet.  Game scores for games not on the website schedules cannot be uploaded until the game has been posted on the website.

After each game, please login and enter your game score, it can be done from a mobile phone, tablet or computer. One of our goals is to make the official website of the BCHSBBA the go to site to find all scheduled games and scores for all senior boys basketball games across the province.. Feel free to delegate the job of score reporting to a team manager or supportive parent. 

Teams who still do not have login credentials for the website, email bcboysbball@gmail.com and I will send you a username and password to give you access as a team administrator.

The BC High School Boys' Basketball Association (BCHSBBA) is pleased to announce that we will continue our relationship with Baden Canada as they will now be the official sponsor for the Coach Goulet JR 8 Basketball Championships, the JR 9 Boys' and Girls' Invitational Tournaments and the JR 10 Boys' and Girls' Invitational Tournaments.

Baden Canada has been a huge supporter of BC high school basketball in the Province contributing more than $500,000.00 over the past 15 years.

Baden Canada will contribute both financial support and product to each of the JR 8, JR 9 and JR 10 boys' and girls' tournaments and will also continue their financial support of the BCHSBBA scholarship program which gives out over $10,000 in scholarships each year to graduating seniors.

On Saturday April 20, 2024 - St Thomas More Collegiate hosted the 2023-24 All-Star Saturday events and it was a great day of hoops.

The day got started with the 1A v 2A match and for the first time ever, 1A defeated 2A by a score of 96-95 in what was an amazing back and forth game.

Player of the game for 1A was Viv Francois, from St. John's, who led the way with 30-points (the highest total for anyone in both games).

Loay Almahamid from Gidgalang Kuuyas Naay had 18-points and Ryder Vanderkooi of Unity Christian chipped in 14. 

The 3A / 4A matchup was a good one on paper and close at the half with 4A leading 43-33.

However, the 4A group showed their dominance and were too much for 3A as they took the game 115-79.

4A Player of the Game was Tamanawis' own Sartaj Bhangu, with 19-points,

Arjun Hehar, also from Tamanawis, had 16,

Thomas Beames, from Oak Bay, and Nylan Roberts, from Yale, both had 15.

The Player of the Game for 3A was St. Pat's Jovin Sunner,

Dylan King, from Lord Byng, had 14 for the 3A squad.

The BC High School Boys Basketball Annual General Meeting will be held at 10:00am on Saturday March 9th in conference room B (4th floor) at the Langley Events Centre. All senior boys basketball coaches who submitted a roster to the Association bcboysbasketball.com are eligible to attend this meeting. There will be a continental breakfast served starting at 9:30am. We will be discussing many important topics (Agenda below)
