2026 Provincial Tournament Berthing
 

• There are 16 berths in each of the 4 Provincial Championships.
• Each of the nine (9) zones is awarded one berth.
• Six berths will be allocated based on the percentage of active senior teams in each BCSS zone.
• If zones are tied in berthing ratio, the berth should be awarded to the zone that has the best placings at the previous championship (policy 723.4).
• The final remaining berth (strength berth) will be awarded at the discretion of the berthing committee based on evaluating each zone’s strength.  The strength berth is assigned to the zone (not a specific team).

Jr Boys Basketball Coaches/AD’s:

For Jr. Boys Basketball ranking purposes we require teams to send scores in via google doc or email:

Coaches, Athletic Directors and League Convenors:

The senior boys’ basketball season kicks off on November 24, 2025

It is time to submit your schedules so we can get the games posted on the BC High School Boys Basketball Association website.

Please send your schedule to
bcboysbball@gmail.com or
mstoneburgh@sd38.bc.ca.

Schedule should include all league games, exhibition games and tournaments your team is participating in.
Information should include date, opponent, location, game time and whether it is league or exhibition.

The website does not allow individual schools to post their own schedules as we have had accidental catastrophes with that in the past.

If your school is hosting a tournament, please put us on your email mail out list to all the participating teams when you send out the draw/schedule, as we can then post the games on each individual school team’s schedule as well as the tournament schedule.

Coaches who do not have a username and password to the website may register for those by contacting
bcboysbball@gmail.com
and they will be sent to you.

Please  provide your name, school, email and mobile phone number.

The BC High School Boys' Basketball Association Executive is attempting to put together an accurate contact list for all coaches in the province.

Once you have a username and password you can login to the website and register your team by entering your player roster and self-report your game scores directly to the website.

Once you input your team roster to the website this will automatically register the head coach as a member of the BC High School Boys' Basketball Association for the 2025-2026 season.

B.C. School Sports has now released the  list of Senior Boys Basketball Tiers for the Tiering cylce 2025-2028. This list is now posted on the website by numerical order and can be accessed by clicking "Tier Breakdown" in the "Coaches" tab dropdown on the upper menu bar.

The minutes from our March 2025 AGM are now posted under the coaches tab at the top of the page.
